On Friday 8/24/07, 93.3 WMMR did something unprecedented and historic! They put on a concert by Finger Eleven on the deck of the battleship U.S.S. New Jersey, dubbed, “Band On A Battleship”. This was the first concert ever on the battleship, which is docked next to the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ. Finger Eleven put on an awesome show! It was a very intimate show for only 500 lucky fans who won tickets from WMMR. The band is currently on tour in support of their latest album, Them Vs. You Vs. Me, with their smash single, Paralyzer. A concert on the deck of a battleship? How cool is that? Very Cool! And the concert was bar none awesome! I don’t know who had a better time, the band or the fans watching the concert. Finger Eleven will be touring through August with Nickelback & Puddle of Mudd. In September they will be touring with Sick Puppies and will be making a stop at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA on 9/27/07.
