Sunday 9/23/07 marked the end of the 2007 Summer concert season, with MMR*B*Q 2: LAST CALL featuring; Live, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Collective Soul, Seether, Silvertide and Noosphere; presented by 93.3 WMMR, at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ! The concert ran from 3:00 pm until around 11:00 pm, capped off by a spectacular fireworks display! It was the perfect show to end the 2007 Summer concert season, on a beautiful, warm September day! Pennsylavania was well represented, from Philly’s own Noosphere opening the show, Philly’s Silvertide cranking out “Ain’t Comin Home”, Wilkes-Barre, PA’s, Breaking Benjamin’s encore of “So Cold”, to York, PA’s, Live, closing the show with a simply killer performance, including hits like, “I Alone”, All Over You” and “Lightning Crashes”! Seether might not be from Philly, but did record their album, “One Cold Night” at the Grape Street in Philly and got the crowd totally revved up, especially with “Remedy”! The same is true for Collective Soul (from Georgia) rocking with fan favorites like “Heavy” and “Shine”, as well as, Three Days Grace (from Canada) blasting out “Pain” and “Animal I Have Become”! It was just a great concert from start to finish! Earlier this year WMMR presented the 1st Annual MMR*B*Q headlined by Velvet Revolver with many other great bands on 5/20/07 at the Tweeter Center! Although all the bands, at both concerts rocked and seemed to truly enjoy themselves, it was the fans who really made out this year! What’s in store for the music fans in the Philly area in 2008? We’ll all just have to wait and see!
