2007-08-29 - Allentown, PA - Allentown Fairgrounds - Hinder, Buckcherry & Papa Roach

This year marked the 155th anniversary of The Great Allentown Fair at the Allentown Fairgrounds in Allentown, PA. This year’s fair ran from August 28th through September 3rd, with games, tasty food and a concert every night! This year’s line-up of concerts included: Counting Crows and Hootie & The Blowfish, Bad Boys Of Rock, Brad Paisley, Hilary Duff, American Idols, Carrie Underwood and J&J Demolition Derby. On Wednesday August 29th the Bad Boys Of Rock tour hit the fair with Hinder, Papa Roach, Buckcherry and Revelation Theory. Revelation Theory warmed up the crowd. Buckcherry came on next playing hits like, “Everything” and “Crazy Bitch” off their latest album, “15”, as well as, other previous hits like, “Lit Up”. They even did a little medley incorporating Billy Squier’s hit from 1981, “The Stroke”. They turned a warm crowd into a crowd on fire! Papa Roach came on next and added more logs to the heated crowd with an outstanding performance which included, “Last Resort”, “Scars” and “Forever” off their latest album, “The Paramour Sessions”. Hinder closed out the concert with an unbelievable set playing almost every song from their new chart-topping album, “Extreme Behavior”. Hinder rocked through fan favorites, “Bliss”, “Lips Of An Angel”, “Get Stoned” and a stellar rendition of Steppenwolf’s 1968 hit, “Born To Be Wild”! Hinder served to only add gasoline to a crowd already ablaze, with their awesome performance! All the bands really interacted with the fans, which is something all too rare these days. From Hinder’s huge “Meet & Greet” with fans, to when, Jacoby Shaddix, lead singer of Papa Roach, jumped down from the stage to crowd surf, before hanging out with some disabled fans watching the concert from the side of the stage. The other bands were no different! They were most appreciative of the fans support and kept everybody involved in the show! It was one of the best multi-act tours this year!
